Took a bit of work to set it up. CenturyLink didn't help much, maybe because I didn't buy it from them ($30+ cheaper at Office Depot). But CenturyLink did give me the toll-free Actiontec number, and Actiontec's technician got us going in a hurry. Working fine now, I can't comment on the wireless range because it's not very far from the router to where devices are connecting.

This was to be an upgrade to system installed over 10 years ago,
After 2 day working with both Verizon and Actiontec, device would not connect to internet service. Each blame the other.
I reinstalled old system and it worked fine.
Purchased a D-Link Modem/ Router from Verizon, had it up and going within 5 minutes.
Will be returning this item.

I always read reviews before I buy online. This one looked to be within my budget and just what I needed it to do. However, when I received it, on the front of the box it clearly states: does NOT work with AT&T, U-Verse or Verizon FIOS...Guess what I have? Verizon! You turn the box over & again, It states, Does NOT work with Broadband internet service operators, including: Cablevision, Comcast, Charter, Cox, Time Warner, Optimum Online... That really doesn't leave very many providers!!!! They should put this information in the DETAILS BEFORE you buy it!! Needless to say, it's going back!!

Had to make two phone calls and be on phone for almost an hour to get it configured and working. Works fine once it was configured correctly
